This book is good. There is a lot of information n getting started selling items on amazon. I only gave 4 stars because the author didn't go into detail on how to go thru the process of FBA(fulfillment by amazon) which in my eyes is one of the most important parts of it.
The book's content is good, but dry prose is not ideal delivery method for this kind of material. The author's clear, thorough course on Udemy has all the same material (possibly more; I'm working through it now) that illustrates everything visually. This renders the book a bit of a wasted time. Skip the book, and go straight for the course. It's a shame the link to the course is on the last page of the book.
I give it 5 starts for effort but it truly needs a 3 Star. So here is a 4.... It's gives basic selling, however I don't believe buying from Alibaba nor aliexpress is an option, you will only find second rate trash shipped from. China, and when and if it shows up, I have many better options for purchasing. Buy in the USA, and be safe
if you are looking to sell on amazon with your own brand i would recommend you reading this bookeven if few of the details keeps on changing as amazon makes changes but the general idea and step by step instructions are very helpfuland proven by myself and friends from small businesses to million dollar businessesi read and hear a lot about private labeling i can tell you that this is really great book, enjoyThank You William
The book was extremely helpful in pointing me in the right direction on selling on Amazon. This opened my eyes on what I need to do to get better sales on my book as well.
This is a great book that I'm happy to recommend. I'm not currently an Amazon seller, but I'm very interested in the topic, and in addition to reading several books on the topic, I have listened to hours and hours of some very high quality podcasts centered around FBA as a business. While this book is not an all-encompassing bible on the subject (for example, I wish that it had delved into how new sellers can protect themselves financially when sending funds to overseas suppliers) it's still very good and an excellent place for anyone to start that might be interested in becoming an Amazon seller.
No Shocking revelations here, little to no tips on managing your ads which is what I was looking for and the key to this whole thing.
Written well, without the fluff of usual instructional topics on making money. Sure, there are some areas such as packaging where more information could be provided. But all in all, great read that I can’t wait to put into practice!
Very practical step by step illustration by author. I will check out the video too. I wish I had read it earlier, it would have saved me time trying to research on my own.
