As the author of this publication my main motivation was to convey my enjoyment of the game of American Football and share some of the things I had experienced as I journeyed around the United States visiting various cities and enjoying the league that is the NFL. As I visited more and more venues I started to notice different practices and fan rituals on gameday, as well as physical and structural differences in all the stadia I was visiting. I loved the personalisation each team had brought to their home grounds, the pirate galleon at Tampa Bay, the stampeding horses outside Denver's stadium and the large panthers in Carolina to name a few. There are 31 stadia in the NFL and all are a little different with personalities that make a trip to the ballgame more than just the event of two teams playing against each other.This book is not a travel guide, nor is it a photo album of external stadia shots. It is a concise insight into the history of each stadium and a look at the architecture and gameday nuances of each team. There are plenty of pictures, plus seating diagrams and location maps for each venue with no bias to any particular franchise. This is meant to whet the appetite to dig a little deeper into the NFL and hopefully encourage diehard as well as casual fans to visit and enjoy the different teams and sights around the league.I hope you enjoy reading this book as much as I enjoyed researching and compiling it.
